PetDose Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sean Lynch ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the mobile app PetDose (the "App").

1. Summary

2. Information you enter

Pet names and details, medication and care schedules, logged doses, observations such as weight or appetite, notes, and the name you choose to show on entries. This information is stored in the App's storage on your device and is included in your device backup. We cannot see it. It leaves your phone only if you choose to export or share it, for example by sending a vet report.

3. Information processed by third-party services

PurposeDataProvider

No advertising identifier (IDFA) is requested, and every ad request is marked non-personalized.Google AdMob
Processing and restoring subscriptions and purchasesStore transaction identifiers, purchase receipts, a randomly generated app-install identifier, and, if the install came from an Apple Search Ads ad, Apple's attribution token (used to measure which ads led to installs, not to identify you)Apple App Store and RevenueCat

None of these providers receives your pet records. We do not receive your real-world identity from any of them. Google's ad data practices: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.

4. Advertising and your choices

5. Subscriptions

Payments are handled by Apple. We receive confirmation that a purchase or restore succeeded and a non-identifying transaction reference. We never receive your card number or billing address.

6. Data retention and deletion

7. Children

The App is intended for pet owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will help remove it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information and to object to processing. Because your records are stored only on your device, you can export or delete them directly in the App. For anything held by our providers, email us and we will pass on or act on the request within the time your law requires. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.

9. Security

Your records are protected by your device's security and app sandbox. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

10. Changes

We will update this policy when the App changes and revise the date above. If the App ever starts uploading your records, for example to share them with a household member, this policy will be updated before that release.

11. Contact
