Common questions
Reminders are not arriving
PetDose only sends a notification when something is actually overdue, never when a dose is on time. If nothing arrives when something is late:
- In PetDose, open Settings and check that reminders are on.
- Open the iPhone Settings app, tap Notifications, then PetDose, and switch on Allow Notifications.
- Check that a Focus mode is not silencing notifications.
How do I cancel PetDose Pro?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then PetDose. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I got a new phone and Pro is gone
Open PetDose, tap Pro, then Restore a purchase, while signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.
Where are my records stored?
On your phone. PetDose has no account and no server, and nothing you enter is uploaded. Your records are included in your iPhone backup. To take a copy out, open Settings and tap Export everything.
How do I delete my data?
Open Settings, scroll to Records, and tap Delete all my data. This permanently removes every pet, schedule and entry from the phone. Deleting the app does the same.
Does PetDose tell me how much medicine to give?
No. PetDose records what your vet prescribed and what was given. It never suggests, calculates or changes a dose, and it is not a substitute for your vet. If something seems wrong with your animal, call your vet.
