Gullhaven Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 21, 2026
This policy explains how Sean Lynch ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the mobile game Gullhaven (the "Game").
1. Summary
- Your progress stays on your phone. The Game has no account and no server of ours. Your save (board, areas, coins, gems, settings) is stored only on your device.
- We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location or health information.
- The Game shows ads through Google AdMob: optional rewarded clips, and short ads between tasks for players who have never made a purchase. Every ad request is non-personalized, and the Game never asks to track you across other companies' apps.
- Purchases are handled by Apple and checked through RevenueCat.
- We do not sell your information.
2. Information stored on your device
Your progress and settings, including your board, restored areas, level, energy, coins, gems, quests, the Tide Pass and your sound setting, are stored in the Game's storage on your device. We cannot see them. They stay until you erase them in Settings, delete the Game, or reset the device. Because we do not receive the save, we cannot restore it if it is lost.
The Game also keeps a small record on the device of which purchases it has already applied, so that erasing your progress and reopening the Game does not grant an old purchase a second time.
3. Advertising
The Game uses Google AdMob to show rewarded ads that you choose to watch in exchange for a bonus and, for players who have never made a purchase, a short ad after some finished tasks. Any purchase turns those off for good. To serve, measure and secure ads, Google may process your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, information about how you interact with ads, and diagnostic data such as crash and performance information.
- No tracking. The Game never shows the iOS tracking prompt and every ad request is marked non-personalized, so ads are not based on your activity in other apps. Google may still use limited identifiers for frequency capping, fraud prevention and aggregate reporting.
- Consent choices. In regions where the law requires it (such as the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), Google's User Messaging Platform asks for your consent before ads are requested. There, Settings shows a Privacy choices button that lets you reopen and change that choice.
Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Watching a rewarded clip is always optional, and the Game plays without them.
4. Purchases
| Purpose | Data | Provider |
|---|---|---|
| Taking payment for in-app purchases | Handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card or billing details. | Apple App Store |
| Checking purchases and delivering what you bought | Store transaction identifiers, purchase receipts and a randomly generated app-install identifier. Not linked to your name or email, and not used for tracking. | RevenueCat |
RevenueCat does not receive your save. Its privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy. Purchase records are kept by Apple and RevenueCat as needed for tax, accounting and disputes.
5. Device features
The Game uses sound on your device. It does not use your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, precise location or Bluetooth.
6. Data retention and deletion
- Your save: kept on your device until you use Settings → Erase all progress or delete the Game.
- Advertising and purchase data: held by Google, Apple and RevenueCat under their own policies. Erasing your progress does not cancel or refund anything you bought.
7. Children
The Game is a general audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will help remove it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port personal information and to object to certain processing. Because your save is stored only on your device, you can view and delete it there. For data held by Google, Apple or RevenueCat, use their own privacy tools or email us and we will pass on or act on the request within the time your law requires. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.
9. Security
Your save is protected by your device's security and the iOS app sandbox. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
10. Changes
We will update this policy when the Game or its providers change, and revise the date above. If the Game ever starts sending your save or any personal information off your device, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
