Ashen Keep Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sean Lynch ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the mobile game Ashen Keep (the "App").

1. Summary

2. Information the App stores on your device

Your resources, survivors, relics, buildings, research, quests, purchase flags, settings, and the time you last played. This is kept in the App's storage on your device and used to run the game, including the timers and the idle stores that keep filling while the App is closed. We cannot see it. It is removed when you delete the App.

3. Reminders

If you say yes when the game asks, the App schedules up to three local notifications on your phone (stores full, a build finished, Stamina full, or a daily gift). They are created by the App on your device. They are not push notifications, no token is sent to us or anyone else, and no server is involved. You can turn them off any time in iOS Settings, Notifications, Ashen Keep. They are never scheduled between 9 in the evening and 9 in the morning.

4. Information processed by third-party services

PurposeDataProvider

Not linked to your name or email, and not used for tracking.Apple App Store and RevenueCat

None of these services receives your name, your Apple Account details, your payment card or your billing address from the App. Their own policies: Google, RevenueCat, Apple.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

The App sells optional in-app purchases: Embers, Stamina and other boosts, Beacon Flares, one-time upgrades such as Remove Ads, and auto-renewing subscriptions (the Monthly Card and the Weekly Ember Deal). Payment is charged to your Apple Account. You manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings, and Restore Purchases is in the Menu and the Shop. Beacon Flares and Ember purchases are random-draw currencies: the odds of every draw are shown in the App on the Beacon card.

6. Data retention and deletion

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will help remove it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information and to object to processing. Because your game is stored only on your device, you can remove it by deleting the App. For anything held by our providers, email us and we will pass on or act on the request within the time your law requires. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.

9. Security

Your game is protected by your device's security and the iOS app sandbox. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

10. Changes

We will update this policy when the App changes and revise the date above. If the App ever starts asking for tracking permission or sending your game data off the device, this policy will be updated before that release.
